Mary Louise Haggerty passed away suddenly on May 5, 2017. William Reed Harmon was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and passed away from a gunshot wound in Arlington, Virginia. He married Susan Catherine Lyons (YHS Class of 1969) in August 1971 in Arlington Virginia. He is buried at Saint James Catholic Cemetery in Falls Church Virginia.

Old Lyme - Paul D. Hefner, 57, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2007 at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown.

Mr. Hefner was born on June 21, 1950 in Washington, D.C., the son of Frank K. and Annadell Pegram Hefner. Paul had a very interesting childhood. His father was a foreign service diplomat taking the family to residences in Bonn, Germany; Vienna, Austria; and northern Virginia. Upon retirement to Old Lyme, his parents ran a successful antiques business which brought Paul to the area. He graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1972 with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology.

Corporal Jeffrey Kay Hoagland is honored on Panel W, Row 46 of the Vietnam Veterans' Memorial in Washington D. C.

Jeffrey was the son of Elizabeth Hoagland and William K. Hoagland who predeceased his son, the dear brother all of Falls Church VA. He enlisted in the US Marine Corps on June 13 1968 and arriving in Vietnam on December 3 1968. He was assigned for duty with Company A, 1st Battalion, 7th Marines, 1st MARDIV (Rein) FMF.
