But please check back on your own to catch up with new classmate profiles, photos and other news.

John Cooper (Cooper)

Marital status: Married
Children: 7
Occupation: Self Employed
Comment: Yes, you saw that right.  My wife, Lisa and I have had seven children together.  After Yorktown, I took a little walk on the wild side.  I went to Virginia Tech and took on the mantle of hippie and rock singer.  I did finish Tech with a B.S. in Psychology, but my real passion was always to fly.  I flew charters and small commuters for a number of years, but situations took me out of the flying realm and eventually into training for ministry, doing factory work and contracts to pay the bills.

Lisa and I have been married for 34 years this June, and our four girls and three boys are all enjoying successful careers and marriages.  We are very proud of all of them.

I have recorded the era we all grew up in with a wild story called "From Woodstock To Eternity."  It is on Amazon, and I promise you won't be bored.  I have been looking forward to this reunion for a long time, and I just hope we can recognize each other and remember everybody's name.

Hello fellow classmates!  It’s been fun reading everyone’s profiles and catching up on the past 50 years (hard to believe)?!! After graduation I left for Radford College earning a BS in Design - Interiors.  In my junior year I met Steve Crosby at VA Tech and we’ve been together since.  We married in ’74 and lived in Staunton for several years then work took us to Fauquier County where we continue to live today.  Our son, Kevin, is a VA Tech graduate and works for Vail Corp in Colorado.   Professionally I spent 15 yrs. In residential work, studied for 2 more years, then worked for Prince William Co. Gov't. for 25 yrs. as a Facilities Planner/Project Manager.  Steve and I are both retired and enjoy music, art, travel and spending time in Cape May.

Thanks so much to the reunion committee who worked tirelessly to bring us together.  Greatly appreciated!!!  Looking forward to saying hi to all.
