While an obituary was not located, below is information that has been found on our classmate:

Keith Alan Edwards was born in Washington D.C. and passed away in Alexandria Virginia.

My original last name,  Jones YHS  ‘71. Keith was a very good friend. He video taped my wedding in 1991 as a wedding gift. He was a roommate in some group houses and was always my most easy going roommate! I miss him and think of him often!

Keith Edwards, John Buckler, Dennis Smith, and I grew up together on the 2700 block of Dinwiddie St. (Dennis moved to California around the end of elementary school and returned to a different neighborhood to complete high school and graduated with our class).   Dinwiddie St. was about 2 or 3 blocks from YHS.  Keith was my next door neighbor for 10 years.  We spent much time together.  We played football and frisbee in the street.  We built forts in the woods and played in the snow.  I took care of his dog Tippy when they went on vacation.  He took care of my dog Taffy when we went on vacation.  Keith's older brother Bob provided the neighborhood kids with pet turtles and snakes. But what I remember most about Keith was when he started playing the drums. Remember he he lived next door, so I heard him playing the drums a lot.  And he played loud!  For those of you who knew Keith you know that playing the drums became his profession, and he was good at it!  When I left Arlington for college and then work, I lost track of most everyone from high school over time.   But when I would come back to visit my brother and sister who still live in the Northern Virginia area I would occasionally run into Keith and catch up with his activities.   My sister who lives in Mc Lean would also send me articles from the newspaper that mentioned Keith and the bands he was in.  I was not aware that he had died. I don't know how Reunion Team members are tracking down deceased class members, but if their families have access to this tribute - Bob, or anyone else who knew Keith, send me an email.  I have lots of good memories of old times with Keith that I would be glad to share!    Seeing the large number of classmates who are deceased is sobering.  Seeing John and Keith,  who I shared my childhood (as well as high school years) with, on the list really hit hard.  So many good memories.  Miss you both!    Gary Adkins
