I never ran with Kenny except in family and navy events. Our fathers were the dearest of friends before he and I  were born. We first met in Honolulu (1958)when my father was his father's commanding officer. From Hawaii to Arlington we all just did our military family group lives. His father, Jerry, was a mathematical genius and well honored in the Navy.   

I grew up on the same street as Kenny and remember fondly all the wonderful times we had together. His father was in the Navy during WW2 and had some really cool artifacts from the war. The friendship went from childhood into high school years.
