Janna moved to the neighborhood for 5th grade. Her bright smile was infectious. She came with a sad story-- but never let that take center stage. We shared the same last name--she lived on 30th Rd, and I on 30th St--and we both lived in 3-generation households. We became fast friends--before and after school every day, girl scouts for several years, including camping and hiking trips and many great adventures. When Gail Eutsler moved into the 'hood, we became a threesome! Gail had the wheels, and our adventures expanded. Gail also had an older brother, and Janna was in love.  Her dream was always to become a school librarian, and that dream was realized. Her untimely death shook my world. She was a bright star in my life--a good friend who always was happy to celebrate any accomplishment of her friends. She is in my heart forever.
